To The Cannabis Alliance Membership and Friends;
The Cannabis Alliance and the entire Cannabis community lost a dear member of our family this week. It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that I report on Tuesday May 24, we lost Coleman Whiting. He was the son of Jerry Whiting, and Partner of LeBlanc CNE, Manager at Herban Legends, and producer at Green Lion. He lost his battle with Epilepsy.
His father Jerry wanted to make a statement.
“Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers and kind words. You’ll never know how much it means to me and my whole family.
Coleman saw his neurologist, had a positive, joyful appointment, returned to his car and suffered a fatal seizure. Historically he never had auras so he died quickly & painlessly.
He touched so many lives in 24 short years. He was my son, my business partner in LeBlanc CNE, and my best friend. We spent hours together over the last few years. Road trips dispensary sales calls, hanging out smoking cannabis. I may have been his designated provider but he was my teacher & confidante.
A special thanks to my canna family for taking us in. And now for taking care of me.
Coleman John Whiting lived his life his own way, with humor, grace, a strong sense of style & fashion, and a beautiful spirit.”
He was a light that shown so very bright upon this earth, he will be missed by everyone who knew him, and we were all blessed by knowing him.
Rest in Peace Coleman.
Those who wish to honor the legacy of 24-year-old Coleman Whiting and his dedication to the cannabis community are encouraged to contribute to the Coleman Whiting Memorial Fund established by Project CBD. All donations will support economically disadvantaged patients in need of CBD-rich cannabis therapies that would otherwise be unaffordable.
