Q1: What do you know about our organization? What makes our mission meaningful to you? Why are you interested in committing your time and energy to us?

A: I've been an Alliance Member since Jan 2017. During that time I've served on 2 committees and am the current chair of the packaging waste committee. I've seen first hand the good work we are accomplishing for our industry and I want to do more to help accomplish our goals.

Q2: What do you think are the characteristics of a great board member?

A: Bring new ideas to the table. Be flexible & open to all perspectives when making decisions.

Q3: Do you have prior board leadership experience? If so, what and when?

A: No Board experience, but currently the chair of the packaging waste committee.

Q4: What specific skills, connections, resources, and expertise do you have to offer and are willing to use on the behalf of the organization?

A: I'm an entrepreneur and come from a small business background. Networking and building valuable relationships with quality people has been my key to success in the cannabis industry. I've built many valuable relationships in the cannabis community and lean on them regularly to accomplish our goals.

Q5: Fundraising is a significant obligation of board service. Are you comfortable asking for money to help fund the mission of the organization?

A: Yes. Anyone making money from the 502 industry should be investing back into the groups like the TCA that fight for a fair and equitable industry.

Q6: Do you have any worries or concerns about joining the board?

A: None, I've got to know many of the active members over the last couple years and really believe in the TCA mission.

Q7: Do you have personal aspirations that could be enhanced by board service?

A: Already doing what I love and hope to be doing it for decades to come.

Q8: What is your motivation of being involved in the cannabis industry?

A: Cannabis has help me on a personal level as an incredible wellness product and I am involved in 2 Cannabis focused companies. How the Cannabis industry matures in my own community is important to me on every level. We have a lot of work to be done still, and I don't think there is a more capable organization to get it done than the alliance.

Q9: What professional or personal constraints on your time or service might you anticipate? What kind of autonomy do you have over your calendar?

A: I have a flexible schedule and have already set aside many hours per month for Alliance work & am willing to put in the necessary work to achieve our goals.

A: Important
