Q1: What do you know about our organization? What makes our mission meaningful to you? Why are you interested in committing your time and energy to us?
I've been an Alliance member for 3 years. For the last year I have chaired the packaging waste committee as well as served as an adjunct board member. Having seen and been a part of many of the positive impacts the The Alliance is making I look forward to working on the many other important issues we have in front of us.
Q2: What do you think are the characteristics of a great board member?
Leave your egos at the door, put in the work, & fight for an industry that benefits the many, not the few.
Q3: Do you have prior board leadership experience? If so, what and when?
Yes, I've served as an adjunct board member since 2018 for The Cannabis Alliance.
I have a strong business background and have worked solely in the cannabis industry for the last 4 years. That combination has given me a wide range of resources that have proven valuable as our industry continues to Normalize even more.
Q5: Fundraising is a significant obligation of board service. Are you comfortable asking for money to help fund the mission of the organization?
Yes, & I've already been working on some fund raising solutions for The Cannabis Alliance.
Q6: Do you have any worries or concerns about joining the board?
None, I've already worked closely with all current board members.
Q7: Do you have personal aspirations that could be enhanced by board service?
Q8: What is your motivation of being involved in the cannabis industry?
As a consumer and someone who makes his living solely on the cannabis industry I want to see a much better version of i502 than we have today. We still have many issues that need fixing and the cannabis alliance is the best organization to get that done.
Q9: What professional or personal constraints on your time or service might you anticipate? What kind of autonomy do you have over your calendar?
I have a flexible schedule and make sure I have time for any Cannabis Alliance responsibilities.
