Queers of Cannabis Volunteer w/ Lifelong

The Queers of Cannabis will now be helping Lifelong every 3rd Saturday. Lifelong delivers food, housing, and health services to people living with chronic illnesses, including HIV and AIDS.

To sign up:

This volunteer session will be prepping food for their Chicken Soup Brigade program for patients which will either be served at the Lifelong facility, or delivered to patients homes.

Straight allies welcome!!

Minors over the age of 12 are permitted with a parent/guardian consent form. This form can be found here.

Getting Here: Free parking across the street (until 4pm), nearby residential, limited on-site and nearby bus routes are 131 & 132.

Entrance: Ring the doorbell at the door to the FAR RIGHT when you’re facing the building. A staff person will greet you and escort you to the volunteer area.

Personal Items: We have cubbies for personal items, but keep in mind that it’s not a locked space.

What to Wear: We require that all volunteers wear short sleeves or longer, and closed-foot shoes. We will provide clean aprons, bandannas and disposable gloves for your use when volunteering. If you prefer to wear your own hat, you are welcome to bring it along.
