Original announcement date: January 12, 2018

On January 4, 2018, the SRCAA Board of Directors adopted regulations to minimize odors and other air contaminants from LCB-licensed marijuana production and processing operations in Spokane County. The regulation includes annual registration, annual reporting, routine inspections, and requirements to minimize odors. The Board adopted amendments to the Consolidated Fee Schedule, keeping the initial registration fees and suspending the annual fees for subsequent years until further discussion and direction by the Board.

The effective date of the regulation is estimated to be early to mid-March. After the effective date, SRCAA staff will develop the initial registration packet, which will be sent to LCB licensed producers and processors this spring. The registration packets will include a registration form and other information, and an invoice for the initial registration fees. SRCAA will offer workshops to provide assistance with the registration process. Workshop details will be included in the registration packet.
